WELLNESS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/SALES MANAGER –

PRACTITIONER AND SPORTS MARKET SEGMENT

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

ENERGYbits Inc. (www.energybits.com) is a fast growing plant-based nutrition company based in Boston’s Beacon Hill area. We sell algae tablets that provide energy, focus, wellness, sports performance and detox benefits all naturally and without chemicals, caffeine or sugar. Our customers are affluent health conscious consumers, athletes and wellness professionals. We sell nationwide through wellness practitioners including chiropractors, naturopaths, sports clinics, CrossFit and longevity centers and our sales in these segments is growing so rapidly we are hiring a Business Development Manager to oversee its national growth.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Practitioner/Wellness Manager will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for signing up chiropractors and other wellness practitioners nationwide as retail partners. To be successful in this role you should have experience selling a premium health food or supplement to either sports or wellness professionals, have a track record of closing sales, have excellent communication skills, be able to learn quickly and be able to build long term relationships. You will be a high energy self-starter with a passionate work-ethic, be organized, love sales and be personally and professionally committed to living and leading a healthy life. Any previous experience working with a startup or with a healthy food or health/wellness company is a bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals

* Follow our sales process and improve upon it

* Improve our contacts, networking and brand profile

* Use email blasts, Linked-In and phone calls to maximize your sales efforts

* Participate at trade shows, conduct pre-show and post- how email follow up

* Represent our brand at local and national events

* Use excel spreadsheets and our CRM system (Zoho) to record your sales activities

* Management skills – oversee Interns and potentially other sales team members

Qualifications and Skills

* Ambitious and results oriented business development/sales professional

* Passionate about helping others be healthy and fit using plant-based nutrition

* Two years sales in the wellness channel preferably chiropractors (not medical equipment)

* Exceptional problem solving and communications skills

* Comfortable with excel, Google docs, CRM, (e.g Zoho), social media

* Team player but works well independently

* Recent Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in business, fitness or nutrition (MBA bonus)

* Based in Boston MA

 

COMPENSATION

Position is a Contract Position

Base of $40,000 -$50,000 plus potential for additional Sales Commissions and Annual Performance Bonus that could bring Annual Salary to $70,000/year

OTHER DETAILS

Position is a CONTRACT position (i.e. no health care benefits and you file a W2)
