Job Description

Wellness at Work is a newly launched health + wellness job site in Boston that highlights job openings across New England. We connect job seekers who are passionate about wellness with the best employers in the industry, across the categories of fitness, food, clean beauty, holistic health, and more. We're looking for an intern who is ready to jump in and get hands on experience to join us for the summer, starting in late May or early June.  

 About you: Our ideal candidate will love all things fitness and wellness. You keep up with blogs like mindbodygreen and well + good, take fitness classes for fun, and are a connoisseur of green juice. You have an eye for trends and are always working to stay ahead of the curve. Most importantly, you have a marketing mind, a great eye for design, and love to create visually compelling content. Extensive experience with social media is a must.  

This is a very hands on role where you'll get a variety of experiences and directly impact the growth of the company. If you're driven, enjoy a start-up atmosphere, and love the wellness world, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience.   

10-20 hours per week
-assist with planning and content creation for social media channels
-draft captions for social 
-research appropriate hashtags
-trend research within the wellness industry
-setting up email newsletters
-contribute to Wellness at Work blog 
-attend/assist with events as necessary
-research wellness jobs openings in the Boston area + beyond   

-experience with social media management
-strong eye for design
-skilled with photography (even if it's just with an iphone) 
-basic graphic design skills (a plus if you are familiar with Photoshop) 
-strong writing skills 
-self-starter who can work both independently or with a team
-located in the Boston area
